Do we have to take online payments?

No. Plenty of halls just want to stop the phone tag and double-bookings. You can take bookings with no payment at all and settle up by cash or bank transfer as you do now. Card payments are an optional extra you can switch on later.

Is it hard to set up?

No. The setup wizard walks you through your rooms, hours and prices in a few minutes. If you can fill in a form, you can do it. We’re also happy to help you get started.

What about our regular weekly groups?

Add them once as recurring hires and RoomRota keeps the slots reserved every week, so the public timetable only shows what’s genuinely free.

Is our data safe and GDPR-compliant?

Yes. RoomRota collects only what’s needed to take a booking, includes a plain-English privacy notice, and has built-in data export and erasure to meet your obligations.

Can more than one committee member manage it?

Yes. Your admin page is reachable from any phone or laptop, so the booking diary no longer lives in one person’s head.
